It is time to purchase the 2010-2011 annual. We do not order extra so please make your purchase now. The cost is $40.00. We will be selling them through Sept. 30. We recieved a few extra copies of the 2009-2010 annual, They will be sold on a first come basis.
We are excited to implement Gradelink this year!
Gradelink is a fully integrated, online grading, attendance and school administration system. Gradelink works over the World Wide Web and can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection.
Parents will be able to keep track of their child's progress by viewing grades, assignments, attendance, and conduct reports.
Usernames and passwords will be mailed to the parents by Wednesday, Aug. 18. This will allow you to access your child’s class information. Usernames and passwords will not be available until then.
If you have not received your letter by Monday (Aug. 23), please contact the office.

*ACT Registration for September has passed. You may still register and pay the late fee of $21 plus the $33 if you want to take the test in September. The next test date is October 23. Registration deadline is September 17. You may register for that test now. You do not have to sign up for the writing part of the test. The school code for Deer Creek is 250-075.
Deer Creek was established in 1965 in the Old Arcola Public School. Some local businessmen bought the school after it consolidated with Hollandale in 1958. In 1965, grades one through eight were added and the building project began. In 1970, the auditorium was partitioned off and Senior High classes were held. In the summer of 1971, the Junior and Senior High buildings were built. Deer Creek School's first graduation was held in May of 1971. The tradition of the junior magnolia chain started then and is still carried on today.
